Default anyone stayed at Ashmore Palms Holiday Village?

Hi
I am considering booking us into the Ashmore Palms Holiday village for the first two weeks of arrival in Aus on the Gold Coast. Has anyone stayed there before?

If so, is it clean? Child friendly? What kinds of people stay there?

I have seen it has won various awards but would still like feedback before we book.

thanks in advance
Nicola
