Hi Arnie.
Yes, I was born in Adelaide and still have family there, but my dad is English and when we came here in the early 1970's life was better in the Uk than in Oz. My parents had planned to give it 2 years to see if my mum (aussie born and bred) had settled and if she hadn't to return.
30 odd years later we're still here and mum still hasn't really settled!!
Hopefully we will be in Adelaide by easter. Things have just started to move re the house sale front - but don't want to say too much as I think that's just tempting fate!

Looks like we should all get together so over the next week or so I'll come up with a venue and a few dates and then PM all who have shown an interest.

We would like to attend, only down the road in Epping, got to children 3 & 5 might be able to get them to grandparents but a child friendly pub would be good just in case!!!!
