property prices for 4 bed / 2bathroom / 2 garage, around $400k upwards. We looked at some of the lower end priced houses last year when we were there on hols, priced at about $430k, and they were brilliant looking with loads of living space etc.
Our friends in Perth tell us property market is slow just now, and people are offering $50k below asking price at times, so you could get yourself something pretty good for less than $400k (£165k approx)

I don't think you'll get a 4 by 2 in Secret Harbour for under $400. :(

There are some cottage lots (i.e. small lots with small homes) which go in the high 300's, but these aren't necessarily in the nicest part of SH. You can get a decent new house for approx. $420 although the more you pay, the nearer the sea/better the release.

Satterleys have just released their 'prestigious' Spyglass Hill development of 5 lots, ranging in size from 835sqm to 970sqm and they ranged from $740k to $795 - just for the land  I'll let you have the sales agent's number if anyone is interested
