Default Anyone moving to Melbourne in June 2010 from India.

Hi,

I will be moving to Melbourne from New Delhi in the last week of June along with my wife. Any sugestions about how to book accomodation and preferred areas close to CBD.

Thanks....
Sandy

Why the CBD?

Is it to be close to potential work opportunities?

Close to the CDB is not the only option we are looking for, it was just to give an idea as we are new to Melbourne.

There are stacks of really useful threads on suburbs in and around Melbourne. Could be worth doing an advanced search.

Let us know what sort of things are important to you?

Here are some hints:
  • Beach?
  • Cafe's resturants?
  • Public transport? Trains or Trams
  • Budget?

I can give you some "local" food haunts some indian work colleages go to some of which have strict dietary needs

Our preference will be.

1. Transport connectivity.
2. Budget.
3. Super Markets for organic, fresh vegetables and fruits.
4. Cafe's

**Bars/clubs are not important for us.
