anyone moved a dog interstate any tips ???
 

moving our dog with us when we move from perth to brisbane.... any tips ?? not sure whats the best thing to do ??? help... :confused:

We contacted the blue cross, our dog flew on the plane with us for a minimal amount, we dropped him at the airport with us. Blue cross arranged for a kennels to pick him up and look after him for a few days until we were more organised to pick him up. He was great, and he was a very nervous dog.

We used Dogtainers to fly ours from Sydney to Brisbane...Wasn't too expensive either. I think about $300 and that was a weekend.

Can't say what it's like for dogs, but drove from melbourne to adelaide with my cat in the back of the car, stopped a few times with him, and he wasn't any worse for it ;)

All depends on how your going to travel? Air - dogtainers, road - back seat of car.;)
