anyone for a meet-up ?
Hi all,
I'm coming over to Australia on Boxing Day for a validation trip and was hoping to meet up with anyone who's migrated already to get the lay of the land for when i come out for good, i'm in Melbourne until New Years Eve, then Sydney until the 5th of Jan, then up to Cairns until the 11th and finally Brisbane until the 17th ............ it's a tough life !
If anyone knows of any meet-ups that i can latch onto or just fancies meeting up for a coffee or beer, please let me know

Just bumping this up for you.
A bit more info might help - what job will you be doing when you get here? - have you got kids, looking for schools, etc? - will you be aiming for beach or bush?
re Sydney, I'm sure there will be some meets going on but they're just not organised yet!!
