Hi All
My OH has just got his visa granted and we are heading to townsville on the 11 December, any useful info would be gratefully accepted... anyone living there that fancies meeting up.........

hi sharon , we have been here about ten weeks now, if you wish info on specific things drop me a pm, one thing i will say is that there always seem to be free community events organised on a regular basis, so usually something to do at least once a week.

We have been here 5 months now and love it. We are always up for a beer, so if you want to meet up pm us and we arange a venue

Merry Christmas from Townsville!

Just popped in from sitting outside the front garden. Everyone is walking around the streets looking at the fantastic light displays wishing everybody a merry christmas. Never did this in London!

Look forward to us all getting together.

We arrive on the 15th of Jan so definitely up for a meet on Australia day. Not worked out the logistics yet but keep that day free and I'll be in touch with details
