anyone know how much a parents visa costs
 

hi,

just hoping someone would know how much it costs for parents to get visas.
im an only child and moved to NSW in september last year.
they were told it costs 11 thousand pounds each :blink: !!!!!!!!!!! is this correct ?

Hi Nicky,
Contributory parent visa costs around $29 500 per parent (£ 12500). Then the sponsor must pay $14000 which is refundable if both parents survive after 10 years. There is, i think, a 7-8 year waiting list for non-contributory parent visa. Also the majority of your children must have PR in Oz.
