Anyone know anyone who works in Australian Customs?
I'd be interested in working in Australian Customs and feel my time as a police officer would put me at an advantage, however not being a citizen is a huge disadvantage. Anyhoo, if anyone has any mates who work in a customs role I'd be very interested in making contact with them...

My son leaving school wants to apply, the careers advisor told him they usually have thousands of applications for each position. Very encouraging
However my SIL in Canberra works for them but in admin, not at the airport. BIL is in Federal Police, all very hush hush what he does They have worked in govt and police in Cairns moving to Canberra, it appears the experience helped then.
