Hey Dan,
Last week Mr. Lombard had another visa approved through the LA office. No one has heard of ANY activity from the DC office since mid-November. I know they changed PMO's (Primary Migration Officer's) in January, I was hoping for a friendlier replacement, but it appears we didn't get it. A sign of life from Washington...
I just received the request letter for medicals and police clearances from DIMIA in Washington, DC. I'm employer-sponsored, and my timeline so far: - sponsorship approved 12 Feb 02 - application submitted to DIMIA Washington 8 March 02 - credit card charged 12 March 02 - request for medicals/clearances received 26 March 02 |

How can Washington be so partial for employer sponsored cases when they cant even respond to other IT applicants for ages?
Can learned experts like George Lombard have a say to raise such issues to the Immigration officers in Washington? |
