Anyone heading to Sydney August time?

We are (me, hubbie, little ones aged 2 and 5)! Just thought it might be nice to see who was heading out to Sydney in August/September.

We are coming out on a 457. Slightly nervous about moving but thought it would be easier to know who else is going through the 'big' move at the same time and may fancy meeting up as and when we all arrive.

We should be in Sydney in August.

Hi Jo
Just wanted to say hi! I'm already in Sydney, been here 19 months now. Whereabouts you heading to? You'll love it here, it's a great place and your children will be lucky to grow up in such a fantastic environment...good luck with the move!

Hi!

We don't know for sure yet, but good schools and family friendly is a must! We are thinking northern beaches, north shore but to be honest until we come out and have a good look around we don't know - it could be anywhere!

We should be out in Sydney, so would be good to meet up!?

Hi Jo
I'm in East Botany (Eastern Suburbs) and love it - 10 minutes from nearest beach, easy access to City.....what more could you want! North shore is lovely too.....can't advise on schools as my girls are both past school age but I do notice that the kids here are far better mannered and behaved than their counterparts in UK!
Keep in touch and would be great to meet up when you arrive.....

Hi Jo,

Weve just moved to Northern beach area - very beautiful, family friendly, beautiful beaches, some areas much more expensive than others, but all worth it.........schools in general are very good, just check out the enrolment numbers, my boy is in a nice small school and getting on great, really loves its. If we can offer any advices, let me know. Enjoy the big adventure.
