Manda Yep - Zoe (a friend) and I are heading out to Perth for good on August 1st...... I have to wait until the end of the academic year before we can head off as I'm a secondary school teacher!! Can't wait!! Where are you planning on living when you get there??! Suffering from losts of excitements and panics - just want to get on the plane! Haven't had our passports stamped yet - will do so when I come back from a brief spell in Mexico - need to prepare for the sun! Emmé |
We're off on April 8th, hopefully for good. Just waiting to exchange contracts on the house. If we don't exchange it will be a 3 week holiday, if we do yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
As you can imagine it's a very tense time in the Loopy household - can't even say goodbye to people properly cos it might not be goodbye, but there it again, it might! Having panic attacks at regular intervals through the day and night! Loopy |

Re: Anyone heading to Perth soon?
We are just behind you by going to Perth on 9th April. And yes, we too are panicking abit. Maybe we should all get together, or organise to meet each other in Perth. It seems such a pity to read everyones messages, and occasionally write my own, and never meet anyone. And if people are in the same position as me and hubbie, then will need a few mates when we arrive.
If anyone is interested, then mail back and I will organise something. I feel like I am putting myself on the line here, but really get the feeling that its not just me that wants a few allies when we get to perth. Louise |
If we get visas in time we hope to fly out to Perth 3rd of May.

Hi Mandy
We're already here, feel free to PM me if you want to meet up sometime. Good luck...not long now hey? love sophia x |
We're hoping to fly out mid July. Couldn't leave without a final Glastonbury. We're both in our 40's and relatively normal (although our friends would probably disagree on that point). Only discovered it 3 yrs ago. This is going to be one thing about the UK that will be sorely missed.
