Watch the Britvics site for news of Meet ups. I think theres one in the city in a couple of weeks & I believe theres going to be one around Berwick area mid January.

Careful up in Bendigo, theres some strange people living around that area. ;)

Dunno about strange....think thats a little harsh!!

More odd, bizarre and even a little doolally would be closer to the truth.... :D

We're heading out on Jan 9th. Staying in temp accom in Mt Waverley for the first few weeks until we find somewhere we like / can afford.

Paul.

We are doing our reccie to Melbourne in January and moving out for good in March / April probably to Sunbury. But also tempted to look at Mornington or Mount Pleasant.

I know youve always said you were going to Sunbury. I think if you check out Mornington though you will not want to go back to Sunbury.
I'm looking forward to Australia day on the beach in Mornington in January.

Re: Anyone heading for melbourne

You maybe right. I know Sunbury very well and people tend to stick with what they know but if the land / house prices are similar to Sunbury I could be tempted by Mornington. Only other thing to consider for me is time to get in the city (not on a regular basis just for the cricket !!).

It will take you about an hour by train or a bit less by car.

Takes me about 50 mins by train to the MCG & an hour to Telstra Dome, its no big hassle.

Pretty reasonable actually, more expensive in Mount Eliza & Mount Martha.

Have a look on realestate. com.au
