Looks like a spacious and fuel efficient car, though a bit pricy for the small car it is..... anyone drove this on NSW roads? Its US version is called Honda Fit and it got good reviews there.

They are due to bring out an American Australian hybrid version, namely ...

The Honda Jizz.

Very responsive in hot slippery conditions & a lovely gear knob I hear ...

...on a more boring note, my cousin has one as her work car and we live in regional nsw with some of the worst maintained roads I have seen for a while. Hers has done 250,000km, still going strong. little maintenance required, very nippy and an allround good car. She would quite like it to die as she has had it so long and would like a change - but it just keeps on going!

She does a lot of travel locally, up dirt tracks and carries some heavy loads in the boot, so its pretty practical too.

All round good car

I remember an AA report in the UK that said in the first two years after the release of the Jazz in the UK that had been called out to broken down Jazz's, excluding out of petrol and flats, a total of ZERO times !!

Do Honda give out free subscriptions to RAC by any chance?

We have one & know of two others with one - no problems with ours in 3.5yrs. It's a safe choice. (I have just tempted fate haven't I? when I look out the window it will be sitting there with a smoking engine & its gearbox on the floor )

Depends on your definition of spacious tho - our pram fitted in the boot but not much else & we had to get a luggage box to go on holiday.

We had one as a hire car for 3 weeks. its an ok little car. But as somone said above, if you can get better and more for the same money then look at that. The jazz is a very basic car but does the job.

Yaris YRS would be a good alternative.
