anyone had meds done in Wrexham?

has anyone had their meds/x-rays done at the Bupa place in Wrexham? We're thinking of going there as it's close and easier to get to than Liverpool or Manchester.
I think it's a Dr Baker and we can have it all done at the same place.Anyone know if he is reasonably cheap?

Five years ago, I had my meds done at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital. There is one consultant doctor there that does it. But things may have changed now. Why don't you give the switchboard a ring and ask them. Perhaps ask to be put through to the secretary of a General Medicine Consultant or the outpatients department. I paid cash directly to the doctor and I can't remember how much it was.

We nearly had ours done in Wrexham recently, but it was going to cost more than a lot of the other places we enquired.

We live in Oswestry so it would of been very convinient - there is also riverside medical practice in Shrewsbury (and go to the Nuffield for the xrays) but they couldn't see us until the end of November!

In the end we got an appointment for the family in Handsworth Wood in Birmingham - it was cheaper and they could see is within the week where as a lot of places you had to wait ages for an appointment.

It was fine - except for the grumpy radiographer!

Hi,
I rang Wrexham this morning and they can fit us in on Thursday so I thought we might as well go there although they're not cheap.Doesn't matter too much tho' as hubby's company will refund the money to us when we get to Oz.
