Mine is still severe ,so severe at the moment it is on my head, even brushing is painful. It definately is worse than the UK.I am under treatment with a dermatologist and do get some relief for a while.Mine is stress related.

But still prefer being here in sunny oz

regards Sally

Dermalogica do a cream called barrier repair cream (find a stockist and ask for a couple of samples ) put this cream under your usual treatment cream and it stops the cream sinking straight in and stinging etc. It also helps the longevity of the treatment cream

My husband has never had any skin complaints in his life (I've always had psoriasis and he's wondered what all the fuss is about!) but since we've moved to DC it's got worse and worse. The doctor tells us that a lot of people suffer with skin conditions here who have never had them before, due to the fact that DC is built on a swamp and is very very humid in summer. I'm sure his is partly stress related, but we're just waiting to see if it clears up a bit now that the cooler crisper days are kicking in.

We also found that he had a terrible reactio to hydrocortisone. Trying homeopathy and vitamins at the moment, on my gran's instruction!
