we went last year, stayed over in a travel lodge as had a two day pass, only went the first day - didn't go back the second, it wasn't that great to be honest, much more informative on here!
nice weekend away though without the kids!

Yeah we are going to stay over on Saturday night and make a weekend of it. If it's not that good, maybe we should just go away for weekend.

We went last year and it was ok. The conference bit where the immingration officers answer questions is good. However if you know what visa you are going for, have accessed the info via DIMA then it really doesn't give you much more. As already said here you get much more info on these pages.

If you are in the early stages of emigrating, then it's ok. If not, don't bother as you will probably know all you need to know already.

We found it quite depressing as we were repeatedly told that if we weren't teachers or nurses we didn't stand a chance - mind you - that is where we made a contact that led directly to hubby geting a job in NZ so I spose it was quite good!!!! (How's that for a u-turn in one sentence!)
The best bit is to go up to the 'buy a house in France' section - nice food market and free nibbles!

I was hoping to find info on Ozzie property & there was hardly anything there, so disappointing for me.
