Default Anyone in GC/Sunshine coast/Bribie with young kids?

HI there,

We moved to Brisbane 3 years ago and currently live in Lota and love it. However, we have itchy feet and are thinking of making the most of the fact by OH works from home. So we are thinking of moving closer to the beaches (we first fell in love with Noosa before we moved) for the next year before we start having to think about things like school (our kids are nearly 3 and 1). We would like to be somewhere that is family friendly obviously and has activities going on e.g. playgroups (and is not completely full of retirees or tourists). Ideally we would also like to be about an hour or so from Brissie airport as OH has to travel reasonably frequently.

The places we like so far are Burleigh Heads, Kingscliff (athough poss too far), Caloundra, Bribie (but just drove through it!), Noosa. Wondered if anyone has any feedback on any of these places with young kids and/or could recommend anywhere else. We are looking at renting somewhere and will probably be only for a year (but who knows we may decide to stay!) so can be pretty flexible.

Thanks a lot!
