Anybody flown with China Eastern Airways :scared: :eek: ???? These are coming out really cheap for one way flights - about £375 all in. Don't want to peddle but they're the cheapest around at the moment...

It can be temperamental - I just did the same search again and got three more threads than before!!! :rolleyes:
Go into Advanced Search, put in "china eastern airlines" or "china eastern airways" and just search All Available Forums. :)

Have flown with China Eastern to Oz and the UK from China quite a few times now. Have no concerns or doubts about using them again. The inflight entertainment system is pretty old, the food 'can' be dodgy (usually rice with chicken or fish) not much choice - but they do have sandwiches, instant noodles and drink in the galleys in case you get hungry between meal times. All safety aspects onboard are covered in exactly the same manner as other airline companies. But at the end of the day I just think you get what you pay for, China Eastern have a reputation which I believe is uncalled for. You take a risk flying with any airline company, cheap or not.

Well, thanks for the advice peeps.

Just booked 2 one way tickets to Sydney with Qantas, so hopefully won't be pedaling LOL :D
