Default anyone else got wind???

I love a shift in the old weather and today has been fab! Yesterday it was around 19 degrees, sunshine etc Took kids for bike ride then went to pub (6 yr old did 8 miles on bike, steep hills, wearing flip flops - he deserved a drink)! Today, peeing it down with rain, chilly, thunder, lightening and wind!!! After our indian summer I'd forgotten how windy it gets here. It really feels like winters coming! Apparently we're in for the coldest winter in 10 years! Best go out and stock up on the woolies X

My friends constantly got it, only hers is due to predictive texting! Everytime she text's me it comes out "I've got wind, come on over"! Took me a while to realise she meant "I've got wine, come on over"!

it is hammering down here in West London! Been raining most of the day. Need to get a bigger brolly as I am walking to work most days and am sick of getting drenched!

Must make sure I get warm gloves, hat n scarf for this winter - I am always cold but never 'rug' up warm enough!

I detest this weather!!!!!!!

i dunno whether to put the kids their coats on for the school run, or do i end up like a packhorse carrying 3 thick coats, 3 lunchboxes as well as my own coat and bag!!!!

this morning in sunny sheffield (ok, scummy sheffield!) its howling gales and lashing it down with rain. As tracey.d pointed out - bloody half term and crap weather!!!!!
Our huge backgarden is just a mudbath so kids cant play out (and i dont let them play out on the street) and will be like this for the next 7/8 months!!

i suppose it could be worse......we have relis who flew out to cancun in mexico last tuesday. thursday they got evacuated to a school gymnasium, and have only just been allowed to go back to the hotel this morning!!!

bah humbug.......i hate cold wet weather!!!

Regards,
Victor Meldrew

I don't envy you -it's bad enough getting up early in the week - which funnily enough i seem to do without an alarm clock - i must be getting old

just off for my granny nap
