Hi. Well, I've been in Perth for two weeks now on my own and am struggling to work out how I'm going to make friends here, as the city is dead except on a Friday night. I've been out on my own on Fridays but only spent my time fighting off really drunken idiots at 6pm and end up going home annoyed that people speak to me like I can't understand the English language!

So, I'd definitely be up for week day after work drinks with a group of other expats or weekend drinks!

Hey you guys

Don't know if you've met up for a weekend drink or not yet but it seems to be a lot of people wanting to meet other new people so as the city is the most central place myself and my girlfriend will be having drinks in town with a couple of other friends from the forums from 6:00 on Thursday 15th September in the bar upstairs at the Greenhouse in the heart of the city 100 St Georges Street.
