What did you think of it, the people and the island in general?

If i get my visa i could possibly have a live in job offer on the island

I have been twice on holiday there and it was lovely. Not sure how much there would be to do if you lived there, but as a tourist it was gorgeous! Bit pricy in teh restaurants etc but thats to be expected as you are a captive audience. What kind of job is it? Sorry if thats a bit nosy!

The Whitsundays is an amazing place - if you have any chance of a job on Hamilton then I'd take it - Sunsail are a pretty good company!!

the only problem is that the island is a bit isolated from everything else in the world - but well worth it for a year or two!

Must agree with previous poster andyr, our son as an apartment on hamilton so we have been there a few times, great place, but i think if i was living there 2 years would be ok, quite a few things to do over there, but quite pricey to eat out etc. you can get food shipped in from the mainland which works out cheaper in the long run, but i couldnt think of a better place to spend a couple of years annie
