Wondered if anyone is in an ambulance service in Australia? We're hoping to work for an ambulance service - maybe NSW, and if anyone has any info - anything would be much appreciated??? Differences etc???

Hi Dawn,

All states have a different service, so it will depend on where you are heading. This is the Qld service http://www.ambulance.qld.gov.au/ , my niece works for them, but in admin, not in the field.

Hopefully someone else may be able to help some more.

Each state has it's own service, in WA it is run by ST. Johns. Work that one out.

Thanks all, we visited the services last year, so sort of know how it's organised, but was just wondering if anyone on here worked for an ambulance service - but seems not - worth a try! Thanks anyway - Dawn
