hi everyone,
just a quick update.
my OH has been offered one of the jobs (the other ones still in the pipeline tho).
he's accepted it and it looks like we'll be moving over mid january.
its the one in bunbury WA, at little further south than where we wanted to be but thats fine.
the company are paying relocation expenses so thats a real big bonus
and they're also putting us up in one of their houses F.O.C for 3 months while we look for somewhere to live.
i just dont know where to start now - i keep coming on my computer thinking i'll research things like shipping companies and find myself on here or normally facebook
any updates from anyone else?????

For anyone still waiting on a bond resolution ive spoken to our agent yesterday who said (i know ive said it before) 2 states are near re-introduction, SA almost certain just a matter of the announcement to follow.
Sadly to little to late with a 20% house price drop and with the need to find the 43k investment means we have little chance. Hopefully others had the money in the bank like us 12 months ago....Hindsight there it goes again

[/FONT]We're feeling very lucky in Oz at the moment. $ months to the day since we landed and we're in our own house and have both (just) got jobs sorted out for next year (both teachers so we were looking for the next accademic year- working sh*tty supply posts at the mo.
Good luck to everyone making the move, try not the get overwhelmed, it all falls into place. Anyone coming to Melbourne, we'll be happy to show you around

Happy New Year Everyone! Not been on this site for about 6 months - not that we are deserting but left UK in August and have literally only just sorted out the net in our new Sydney home! God it's weird that some of you are still having a hard time selling houses, and poor pomerz - I really thought they'd have sorted this sh*t out by now how frustrated you must be!!! Well all is good here I just hope you all make it real soon - good luck to those of you still 'in progess' and hope the rest of you settle just as well as we are..... Take Care
