Default Anyone any advice.

Has anyone ever used the shippers Anglo Pacific? just wanting to know people's views on them to see if they are any good. Got a few quotes to ship our furniture out to Brissie. They seemed to be the dearest but we felt that they were the most professional. Can anyone give us any advice ?

I think if you run a search you may find quite a few comments about them. If I remember correctly they weren't all good!

Cheers

We used PSS for our move to Perth and have nothing but praise for them.

John Mason gets a lot of praise, so do PSS although Fraser not too happy with his sofa. We have 2 more round this week for quotes.

We got a quote from Allied Pickfords which seemed reasonable in comparison. Haven't used anyone yet as still in the UK. Not long now hopefully!

Cheers

Crown have a good rep on here but I've found their customer service appalling. No one has got back to me with a time and date for a quotation visit despite a few emails flying back and forth - I've found them very rude and, needless to say, won't be using them.

Had Nightingales in for a quote - halfway round the guy suddenly realised I was moving to Perth Oz and not Perth Scotland !!! I knew more about what items you can and can't take in - guy said fridge freezers ok a long as you weren't taking six (no mention of CFC's) and no problems at all with dried flowers. Won't be using them either.

I've got John Masons on the 1st and will have Allied Pickfords out if their email system ever works or someone picks up the phone !!

Search on Anglo Pacific, and remember this phrase "do not touch with a ten foot barge pole"

Quite agree - they were a total nightmare for us. Wish I had known Pollyanna back when we booked as I would have avoided them like the plague

We used Anglo Pacific, & we have 4 different sets of buddies who've emigrated and used them.

We've all had no problems with them whatsoever.
Great service.
Lots of communication on the status of our shipment.
Nothing broken at all when our stuff got here.

We've got buddies who just got here recently.
Their stuff arrived a few weeks after them through Anglo Pacific
& again the whole service they got was perfect.
No problems at all.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Anglo Pacific to anyone!
