Our container arrived in Sydney on 4 September, but has still not been inspected. We were told today by the Australian agent (Wridgeways) that IF the container is inspected tomorrow, they will deliver in 7 days' time. Does anybody know if there is a genuine delay or are we being given the runaround?

We have been told to allow up an average of 2 weeks for processing and clearance through Sydney once the container arrives in port, so we're assuming it will take anything from 2-4 weeks to process.

our container arrived in Sydney august 21st and was delivered to us last Thursday 14th sept. it was inspected on the 7th, it sat on the wharf for over a week and we encountered a big bill of nearly $1000 storage. It was are own fault we tried to cut costs in the uk we should have gone door to door, so your time scale does seem about right. sorry i know what that waits like.
