I'm really not expecting a response from this thread but what the hell it's worth a try!! We're moving to Perth hopefully in Sepetember. My Hubby is a Print Finisher and we've been doing the usual on the web looking for jobs etc but to no avail. In the white pages there a hundreds of printing companies so we know there is work out there!!!! Please please give us some hope! Hope to hear from someone soon.... cheers Jane

I know you said Perth but my brother emigrated to Brisbane in October, got a job within days, husband also in the print trade and our TRA went off this week, again going to live in Brisbane where an awful lot of the Print Companies seem to be, don't know if you thought about Brisbane but they seem to be crying out for Printers.

Does your brother know what the Printing trade is like in melbourne, my husband has passed his TRA assestment , and we are now waiting for our visa's to come through.

Hi, we know the print trade in Melbourne is superb, it's supposed to be the print capital of Australia! We have friends there that have had no problem getting printing jobs and the money is good too. We really really want to go to Perth as that's where all our friends are. Thank you for your responses though, much appreciated & good luck
