Any Poms In Brisbane From Bolton/nw
ANYBODY OUT THERE FROM BOLTON/NORTHWEST IN BRISBANE AS WHEN WE GET OUT THERE WE HAVE NO FAMILY AND FREINDS IN OZ SO WOULD LIKE 2 MAKE SOME AS SOON AS POSS!

we are at the early stages yet, just sent off skills assesement.but going factfinding in august for a month!

hopefully by august we will be pretty sorted out with a place to live, schools for the kids etc so if you are passing by you are welcome to call and see us for any tips.

We are from Stoneclough, more Farnworth really. Moving to Adelaide though.

there seems to be a rush of boltonians heading to oz. 2 children from my sons class are going and a family from up the street. i cant think why!
just read your thread about your family hope it all works out for you. when they realise they cant win they will come round. just keep sending photos of your baby, they wont be able to stay away for long.

hi JJL FAMILY HERE John Lesley & Joe we are practically neighbours as we live on lord st kearsley. We seem along way behind u in the process as we have just sent off our skills assesment. Yes we have u sed an agent(DID U)bit pricey but claimed no visa no fee(£1600 +VAT AGENTS FEES).Have u been 2 oz before and if so why Adelaide.hope 2 hear off u soon

Adelaide is our choice of destination purely because we have been there two years ago and fell in love with the place. We also visited Perth, Melbourne and Sydney. I loved Sydney but to live there would be too much of a rat race for my liking.
Adelaide is just gorgeous. The city is clean, the people seem to be friendly and the neighbourhoods, especially round Happy Valley where we stayed, are just the kind of place I want to bring my son up. I'm sure other places in Aus are just as nice, but we've got to put down roots somewhere, and Adelaide is good enough for us!!!

Hello !! just thought i would ask u your name? u never know we might know each other. whats yours and your patners occupations, john is a self employed bricklayer, and i am a cook, johns 32 and i am 42 , i work at george tomlinson school, please dont tell me you used to go there!!!!!!!!!!! . hope to hear from u soon. lesley .

I can't belive what a small world it is, we also live very near you we live in Walkden also looking to go to Brisabane, our visa appication went in at end of Dec, any ideas whare you are going to go in brisbane? we are still looking for info on area's etc...
