Welcome to Perth.
Your best bet for meeting Polish people is the Polish Church in Maylands (35 Eighth Avenue Maylands 6051). There is usually a churchful of people and the service is in Polish. Alternatively there is the Cracovia Club in Beechboro (http://www.freewebs.com/cracoviaclub/).
