Just wondering if anyone is/was from Cheltenham/Gloucester?
Been here in Canberra for 6 months now, and loving it!!

Hi - I'm from Cheltenham too. Was born and brought up there but moved to tewkesbury for a couple of years before we came over here in 2008. We are now on the mornington peninsula in victoria but started out on the sunshine coast.

How are you finding Canberra?

I lived In Cheltenham for over 37 years, so was interested to hear from people who were from there!, Loved Cheltenham, been in Canberra for 6 months now and it reminds me a lot of Cheltenham, where it is clean and safe!, if anybody wants to chat feel feel!!

Where abouts in Chelt did you live? My mum and dad ran The Hatherley/3 Crowns between 96 and 2006.

I loved Cheltenham too, going back for a visit next year

I had a house in Springbank, I have friends who live in Hatherley, we going back this Sept for 2 weeks holiday. Miss the wine bars and clubs (when I was younger!!). Lots of lovely places to eat, I went to St Benedicts RC school, so how are you finding it over here?

I grew up in Churchdown until I was 17, then lived in Uckington for a few years, then Bishop's Cleeve for a couple of years. I miss the bars and restaurants too. Moran's on the Bath Road was a big favourite of mine in the early 90s! And I met my partner in the Prom Vaults in 1990, so that'll always have sentimental memories!!
