Hi, there is a guy on here called "joeyballantyne " who plays football in Caloundra and he mentioned something about Buderim being his biggest rivals so it looks like there is a team!

Send him a PM and hes sure to help if he still looks at this website - we were thinking of moving to the area and he offered to meet up with us on our reccie and take my hubbie to football training. Otherwise, someone else will post on this thread shortly, I'm sure.

Theres a football club down the end of cogill road called buderim wanderers or something. My nephew is here and my husband plays - I think they are joining Maroochydore.,

Season has just finished - pre season starts mid January at most clubs. Costs vary - traumatising my husband who always got paid to play

hey sharkbait - king kenny pic!...you'll go down well here mate - cos half the poms who play here are either liv or man u fans!...anyway welcome -

yes buderim has a top team - they're the champs for the last coupla years at a-grade, and pretty good at reserves grades too. they also hold six a side comps on tuesdays and wednesday nites - and most teams are laden with poms! ...check their website

i play for caloundra and we're the buderim enemy so you're more than welcome to join us lol ! we "train" tuesdays wednesdays thursdays from this week- check out websites (being updated)

theres also indoor 'futsal' 5-a-side, very similar to back home but with a proper pitch and hockey goals and a flat pudding of a ball ...well thats what it feels like when i miss penalties

we're on off season at the mo but pre-season starts over the next coupla weeks, the season proper starts around end march....really depends on where you live and who you want to play for cos you have buderim, then caloundra, maroochydore and kawana are about 15 mins away, then theres the others - beerwah/glasshouse, coolum, noosa, bribie, cabooluture, north shore - mate theres loads! they're all under the sunshine coast football - see their website

also depends on how many summers long you are ...i was doing over 35s but they play on a friday nite and i want my friday nite back so gonna play ressies on saturday mid-pm from now on...have a look at the following websites to get an idea of whats around and let me know if you have any q's - dont worry we can get you a game tomorrow if you wanna run off the christmas seafood!
