Any input on NZ processing times at Washington DC
Hi gang,
Any input on the NZ General Skilled (IT) PR processing times times at Washington DC?
I see that the Newsgroup is boasting about London doing it in not more than 15 days! Are these 15 days assuming that you are submitting the police certificates and medicals alongwith the application?
Thanks gang for replies

Yep, submitting police certs and medicals with application, which is what the form
indicates.
I think we should stop mentioning this now - it looks too easy <grin>

Winnie,
Thanks for your reply. However, I had not gone through the application form entirely....so my question was in the meantime before I could spend the time is money factor.....Hence wanted to know first hand on the processing times.....It would be great if someone could address my original question on the processing times at Washinton DC.

I applied through Washington D.C. last November. Total time took 1 week until I
received a my approval in principle.
It really doesn't take much to get the forms, police certificates, medicals etc. The
FBI CIS certificate takes 2 weeks, medicals are 1 day.
My hardest labor was putting together reference letters from past employers. But even
that only took a month.
I don't know if the NZ Embassy can evaluate your application properly if you don't
include all the required documentation.
Processing time is short when it's done right.
Good luck.
