Seen a lovely house near Laidley, (Regency Downs) Anyone know it, is it kosha, full of muggers or mass murderers? According to the map it is tiny?

Vivi, Laidley is a small country town about an hour & a bit west of Brisbane (an hour & a bits drive outside of commute time that is). As country towns go its got some good stuff & some bad stuff, depending on if you like country town life I guess! The pluses are that it is relatively close to Brisbane (so if you do your country service there, its not like you are on the moon) & is in the middle of a fairly prosperous small crops/holdings area. The down sides are that its hot (add up to 5 degrees onto Brisbanes max temp in summer) & its close to the Gatton campus of University of Queensland (the agricultural campus).So at anytime on a weekend you are likely to find the Laidley Hotel full of drunk students & polocrosse players .

Expect small town mentality & you wont be disappointed to find some people who are pretty decent folk .

I havent been out there for a couple of years, so no doubt its grown, but I doubt if my assessment would have changed much .

Oh & btw, it has an active Dog Obedience Club if you are interested in dogs!

Dont think so, last I heard he was supposedly living in a "nondescript block of flats" in Brisbane's inner-south.

I dont think Laidley even has any flats .
