Question any ideas where to eatout in Brisbane CBD

YIPPEE - Going on our first night out as a couple since we came in Feb ! Finally got a friend who's offered to babysit, trouble is, no idea where to go
We're heading in on the train about 7.30 tonight, can't be too late home & far too old to go clubbing anyway, just a few & something to eat.
Any ideas ?

If you like Italian try Pane e Vino ph: (07) 3220 0044 at the corner of Albert and Charlotte Street. It's casual dining and food is really good. They make awesome icecream too. There's also Gilhooley's next door on Albert Street if you fancy some pub food. If you want a table tonight you've got to book early now.

Enjoy, wherever you're going.

Southbank has some eateries along Little Stanley Street. There's also the Plough Inn which does food and drink.

Cheers

Plough Inn is good, we went there last night, very nice, although the ribs were a little over done. Another good place to eat, with a great choice from Pizzas through to Vietnamese is Jo Jos on the Queen St mall, about half way down directly opposite the Hungry Jacks on the first floor, been there twice now, each time was a winner.
