You're making me jealous of the roof top pool and BBQ!!! Obviously we can't do it here coz the weather is unpredictable. But I guess that work/life balance seems to be exciting.

OK. I shall wait for my telephone interview and hope everything goes well then.

This also annoys me but it's all tried & tested methods though, the old "if it 'aint broke...." mentality.
But, if you were spending millions of your own money on a project would you want a garaunteed solution or an unproved innovative one?
Glad the fellas who were innovative with electricity didn't say that. 'Would you prefer guaranteed steam power and candles, or would you like unproved innovative electricity' Think where we wouldn't be today. Technology has to move on. There's always a risk in something unproved - but then again it might turn out to be something revolutionary!
