Default Any deadline for stamping visa on the passport?

I just got my visa grant letter asking me to submit my passport for stamping.

My problem is that I'm in Libya now. There is no Australian embassy here. I will be going home in 3 or 4 months time. Is it ok to have my passport stamped by that time? Or is there any deadline on the stamping of visa?

Please advise.

Hmmmm....not sure. Personally though, if it was me I would send it and get it stamped. All the hassle of getting the visa I would be gutted if I lost it because I didn't submit my passport.

Is it the regs in Libya that you must have your p/p with you at all times????

What would it cost you to fly home now for a few days, and get it done ?

How long have you got to validate? As long as you get your visa in your passport and your passport returned to you prior to your validation trip then you should be fine.

Did you know that even if you were in the UK you would have to post your passport to the AHC. Since November the walk in service ended.
