Any commuters in brisbane?
Just wondering what you think the public transport system is like?
Trains mainly, but interested in the buses too.
What route do u take?
Are they clean?
Do they get very busy?
Are there often delays, or generally do they run on time?
Interested in any info for the whole of Brisbane.....
Cheers.
Pete.

Commute from Southern suburb about 10 Kms to office. Have to get 2 buses and takes about 45 min depending on connections.
Busses some are state of the art Gas powered some are 20 year old wrecks, but generally clean and well looked after.
Commuter trains run regularly and more reliable than busses, great if you are on their route.
On thing I've heard about train service from Gold Coast which is a new line, is that it's hit capacity all ready and people are being crammed on like sardines in rush hour. It's a 1 hour journey from Robina to CBD, but out of rush hour it's fine. A lot of the suburban stations have free park and ride facilities, which increases usage.
