Any cheap accomm near Parklands (stadium), Gold Coast for 1 nite in Jan??
Hi Guys
We are looking for one nights accommodation anywhere near to Parklands, the events centre / stadium where The Big Day Out is being held Jan 2013. We are coming down from the Sunshine Coast and need to kip over somewhere. The caravan park in Southport requires a 7 day booking.
Cheaper the better! Anything, camping, a budget motel, pub, someones granny flat. We are a middle-aged married house-trained pommey couple.
as long as there is a loo and somewhere to crash between the time the concert ends and when we wake up so we can safely drive back home.
Does anyone know of anywhere?

Nothing close to Parklands and not much chance of finding something around Southport in January now either. Do what most people would do, try WOTIF.
