The only restriction with 134/137 is that you commit to living in the sponsoring state for 2 years.

Why so many different visas? Because different visas are designed to cater for different circumstances. The 134 visa, for example, is designed to give people who are nominated by a state government an exemption from the points test and a reduced work experience requirement.

An employer will not care if you have a 134 visa as opposed to a 136. All they will want to know is whether you are a permanent resident.

I agree with Jeremy. Employers are not bothered about what type of permanent residency visa you have - they simply want to know whether you are a permanent resident.

Try not to think about the various visa subclasses too much ... once you have identified a pathway focus your efforts on securing a visa under that route ... :-)
