Another 'Tax Return' one?
 

Can I lodge a tax return on the figures from my final pay of the year? ... :confused: ... it seems to show all income and tax withheld etc

My company are taking forever to give the group certificate and keep going on about 3 weeks, 3 weeks, got 3 weeks to do it!!!!!! ... :banghead:

Any ideas?

If you do your tax online using eTax you don't have to send in your group certificate.

But can I just go on the figures for my total earnings till 30th June, i'm guessing so, but dunno ... :confused:

If you use the E-tax and allow it to pre fill information it will probably pick up your earnings which should match your figures you have already.

Depends if you know your fbt and other figures if any. I believe the deadline for group cents is this week. I'd just be patient.

Ah Wendy you got there before me.

I almost killed myself trying to get all the group certs done before i went to UK on the 6th July as even I know that you only have until the 14th July to get them to staff, and till the 14th August to get them to ATO from the payroll perspective.

Nope! ... accountant keeps goin on about the bossman isn't here to sign em (on holiday), but TBH I think i'm gonna Etax it.

Gonna email him that link now all the same ... :D

When I got mine it wasn't signed, just the name printed in the box.
