We just really stressed it was urgent we got in. We viewed on the Wednesday I think and was in on the Saturday. We had to wait for them to fit a couple of appliances before moving in

OUrs was a brand new rental though, just built and so empty. If you're taking over someone else's rental I guess you have to wait for them to move out

Yup, offered both the day after we applied for them. Went to rental viewing with a folder containing all relevant info, handed it over at inspection, got offers next day

We needed a rental when we sold first house on southside.

I had just collected money for fella we worked for , from 4 clients that day. All in cash, all up about 20 grand !!!! In my pocket !

Couldnt resist swanning around with it.

Went to rental office ( at agents ) in Browns Plains, and anyway chick says sorry, you dont have enuff evidence from employers da dee dahh... cos im self employed.

So she said, give me your details, and if things change we will call you.

So I said I will givya my bizz card, bear with me... and i hoofed all this cash out onto the table, and finally got to my empty wallet pmsl.. and gave her a card.

Then made a meal of it, putting all money into all pockets lol.

Said thanks for your help, cya !

She was just sitting there GOB SMACKED

The hoighty toighty bitch !!

lmao

Lol, she probably thought you were a drug dealer with all that cash

We didn't really have much evidence at all. Dale hadn't got a job yet, we'd only just opened bank accounts, hadn't even got an Oz licence! Just put loads of crap in like UK bank statements, print off of Oz one, passports, UK drivers licence that sort of stuff. Lucky really.

Oh and offered 3 months rent in advance, but they didn't want it
