Another question on Medicals!
Can anyone help me on this. I am applying for a defacto spouse visa and I am about to do my medicals. It stated that if I was going for a PR visa I should have certain blood tests like HIV etc and if I was going on a temporary visa then these test weren't necessary.
The spouse visa is temporary for the first 2 years and then if granted is permenant so should I have the extra test done or not?

Most spouse visas have a temporary 2 years before they become permanent - its largely a formality getting the PR as long as you are still in a continuing rel'ship. The lucky people who get their PR straight off have been together for several years, and/or got kids together.
