Default Another probably silly visa question :)

This may sound like a silly question but here goes anyway. Was just having a last look at our visa application and the english language question.....Andy has a diploma and we have university transcripts, do we have to send any other proof of english language ability?

Heres looking forward to hearing from you guys!

If you are born in the UK you shouldnt need proof (just your UK birth certificate) - thats what our agent said.

Our agent had a little panic when they found out I had spent most of my childhood in Norway - but told her born in the UK and emigrated back to the UK at 13 - no tests or proof required.

If you are born in the UK and have a British passprot then you don't need to send proof. (we didn't)

If they are in doubt then they will ask for it later, but it is unlikely they will.

no such thing as a silly question! all questions need to be answered, and where better to try then here? I've had so much help, support, fun with all the different threads so I really like it when I can answer a question.
