Hi

I wonder if anyone can tell me whether I can bring in sea shells?painted eggshells?

With regards to wood would the following be problematic:

painted wooden carving (a bit like a decoy duck)
scrubbed wood table, some tiny cracks in wood, but no bore holes etc
highly polished wood carving
plywood items (not varnished)

all of the above made in UK form UK wood. What exactly is it that they don't like (or is it impossible to say). AQIS sent me a huge file about wood imports but it seems to be to do with wholesale timber.
