Another numpty question
Hi guys,
Another numpty question - are UK videos compatible with Aus systems? We've had conflicting advice.

Hi
Just to add to the confusion i always believed that to play a UK video in Aus you need a UK video player as Aus video's will not play UK tapes ????
DVD's it may depend what region your disc's are for

Most DvD Players now are multi regional, so that shouldn't be a problem either. If your dvd player is not multi region enabled, google your dvd player and model number into with the query Software hack. IE: if you have a Phillips DvD Player, You would type Phillips (model number)+softwarehack, and that should give you the code for switching of the Region lock, which you enter via your remote control.

If all else fails, you can pick up a very good basic Dvd Player, multi region, dts, 5.1 channel, progressive scan DvD player, from Aldi, who seem to have these in stock all the time, For 49 bucks, with a 12 month warranty.

We have a TV combi so going to take videos for that.
Not going to buy a video player.
We are taking our DVD's with us cause we can play them on our computer or laptop.
Hope thats a help.
