'another' Newbie! Sorry!
Hey everyone,
Wow, so glad I found this site!
A little background : I was born in the the UK, my parents moved to Melbourne when I was 6, came back here after finishing school to 'travel the world', met my OH, married him, bought a house, had our son (now 4). We have been together 9 years - and I have FINALLY made, I mean persuaded him! to move back 'home' with me!
We sent his application off (Spouses Visa) in December, acknowledged straight away, he had his medical a couple of weeks back now, & haven't heard anything as yet. I HATE this waiting! Anyone have any idea if there is a 'general' time line after the medical has been done - as to when you hear back from them? Fingers crossed, you would think it would be a pretty straight forward application really... Once we hear, if successful we 'just' need to sell our house, & count all the pennies we are taking with us!
Look forward to chatting to you all & hearing all your stories x
