Another hurdle to overcome - AOS

Hi to you all

I am feeling really frustated and down at the moment. We have been at the last stages with Centrelink since November. Lots of cock ups to do with our assurer not receiving letters from Centrelink etc. Anyway my assurer took all documents required to Centrelink early dec to be telephoned 2 days before Xmas to say the person at Centrelink who copied her docs should have certified them to say the originals had been sighted. Back down again she went on the 21st Jan only to get a phonecall this morning from Centrelink to say she is $100 short of the threshhold for the year 2002. it doesn't matter that 2003 was $10,000 + over the threshold, and 2004 is heading the same way. Sorry you don't meet the requirements. I now have to find a joint assurer to make up the $100 shortfall. B***er.

I wasn't aware that the threshold had gone up, when I asked my cousin if she would earn enough we were looking at the figures given to us in Feb 2004 by our agent. I am so mad, why didn't my agent let me know this, i could have been lining up a joint assurer months ago.

Sorry for the moan guys but this is just another bl**dy hurdle to overcome.

This had better be worth it.

Julia
