another humidity one
I,ve seen a few posts recently regarding how humid certain parts of aus can be.When i read them i think oh i wonder how i,ll be working in them humid conditions, when i,m in full flow over here i can work up a sweat in the cooler weather.
Then i got thinking i dont really think i,ve experienced humidity,i,m sure i hav,nt in this counrty or when we,ve done the spain runs.
so what does humidity feel like and how does it effect your day to day.
dave
ps. do we get humidity here ever

It doesnt matter where you work in australia in summer it will be HOT.
Humidity feels draining, like heavy air, sorry but in my total of 9 years in the UK I never experienced anything like it, places without the humidity have the furnace feel instead like walking the day in a hot oven again nothng like in the UK.
Drink 4/5 litres of water during the day, wear lightweight shirts with sleeves to protect arms/back from sun, you buy large brims to fit around hard hats, or big wide brimmed hats, excellent quality sunglasses to protect eyes from cancer. White yourself out with sunblock prior to work at smoko and lunch. Drink more water when you get home, swim, rest. Think of british building sites swamped in mud and fingers frozen to the bone and convince yourself how lucky you are.
