Almost 3 months now......
since we left thwe shores of England. Things are beginning to look up.
I found the first few months VERY hard. Still miss my sister and mum and dad badly, but dont feel quite so distraught (if that is the right word!!)
Living in Kinross, Perth. Kids have settled down okay.
Spent a LOT of time with Lisa & Pete, found that we tend to lean on each other. Dont quite know what I would have done without them.
Have got myself a job in Millers in Murray street. Have bought an investment property in Merriwa, and on top of that it is my 40th birthday tommorrow and I dont feel (or look) a day over 25!!!!
To all those still waiting to come over......its hard work, you have good and bad days, but stick at it. Oh and find yourself a good mate here like I have!!!

We clocked up our 3 months here last week & had a nice meal out to celebrate. It's been exhausting, scary, exciting & huge fun all rolled into one. As you say good pals make all the difference, that and taking a positive, determined attitude (even when things get tough), but most important of all: keeping plenty of Aussie champers in the fridge!
Cheers,
Anya.
