For all those trying to sell
About a year a go my dad had put down a deposit on flat and had his house a small 3 bed semi on offer for £250000 with a particular agent who I didn't rate. Now I kept telling the stubborn old git to change agents but he wouldn't listen as they'd given him a good deal, but a good deal's only a good deal if they sell it. In the end he lost his deposit. Then last week he found another new build flat
and because he was worried they agreed to help him sell and said he could have a fell refund of his deposit if he couldn't. So on Thursday his house went back on to the market with multiple agents for £235000. Today they were lining up outside and he's already had 3 offers for the full asking price. So it would seem with good agents, and agents competing against each other to get the sell and the right price the market isn't as bad as it appeared to be a year ago.
